Did any of you who have gone through pregnancy ever have there period while they were pregnant or when they first got pregnant? I just have so many symptoms of being pregnant, the only thing stumping me is that I had my period for two days and it came a week early. Now I am experiencing light cramping and all sorts of pregnancy symptoms. I have never been so sure I was pregnant. But the test I took before my two day period (which by the way usually lasts 7 days) was negative. Has anyone had this happen? Thanks for any help you can give me. I am going to have my dr. do some blood work to check. BTW I am not really trying but I am not, not trying either. It would be a joy to be pregnant.

Thanks,
Sunnie :)

hey sunnie,
if you took the test a week before your normal period would be due it was probably way too early, which is why you got the neg. my friend had periods all through her pregnancy so it is possible, and they say an unusual period can be a sign of pregnancy.
lots of baby dust to you!!!

My aunt had her period the whole nine months she carried my cousin! I'd wait another 2 weeks and test again. Good luck. :)

Thank you so much for your responses. The symptoms are getting more intense. I really and truly think I am pregnant. I took a clear blue easy pregnancy digital test today because I got inpatient. It said I was not pregnant but then when I pulled the test stick out of the digital reader It showed a dark line and then a faint second line. I am wondering if the digital part didn't pick up the positive. Have any of you experienced this? I am going to give it more time for sure and test again. My hips and my abdominal area feel like the are being pushed on from the inside and I am more nausious today too. Is that a symptom?

Thanks,
Inpatient. :)

I just wanted to ask..ive never been sure about this ..but..

If Jeepbabe..or anyone experiences pg signs like this ..or just major ones in general..wouldnt that just be enough to show a positive on a HPT..i mean if the pregnancy hormone is just causing enough signs..wouldnt a positive for sure show up then..? it makes sense doesnt it?

I hope someone understand what i mean.

A lot of times you can have all the symptoms and even be pg and not have it be a positive test. My mom was pregnant for three months and had her period for 5 months when she was pg with my brother. She did have symptoms of PG the entire time though. She knew she was pregnant way before it showed up on a test for her. :)

That is so odd! Well thanks for answering though!

So how are you doing/feeling?

BTW, i have heard of many times..where a faint line does mean a positive result.
I would definantly take another soon..i recommend EPT. ive heard bad things about clear blue.

I hope you dont mind me asking, but if you are pg, is that something you are looking forward too or no?

I am extremely excited at the prospect of being a mommy. I can't tell you how exciting it will be to have a possitive test result. The more I read about being pregnant the more convinced I become. :) Thanks for asking. What have you hear about clear blue easy?

Could it be that you had implantation bleeding instead of an actual AF?? Just wondering. I personally, have had early spotting for like 3-4 days, light brown, very minor amount, and think I may be PG also. Still waiting to test until Monday..

But I wish you the best of luck... let us know what your doctor says!

Yes this is very possible actually. I have heard that implantation bleeding can be a lot like a period only it lasts for a shorter period of time. I think also it was too soon to test because it just happened. The only reason I say this is because I am very in tune with my body and things that other people don't notice I actually do notice. Yesterday I was watching a movie in at the theatre and I actually felt something move inside of me. Weird huh? :) I will find out by Wednesday what is going on. I will keep everyone posted. :)
