I've had a problem with my right eye getting very red for the last few weeks. This also happens to be the same amount of time that I haven't been taking Inderal anymore. I had this problem a few years ago with my eye and it seemed to go away when I started taking Inderal back then. I also changed other things so I can't be sure that it was the Inderal that got rid of the problem. But can high blood pressure cause red eyes? I took my blood pressure and it was 150/95 so I decided to start taking Inderal again so I took one. I hope that gets rid of my problem again.

Yes it can.

After stopping a beta-blocker, one's BP can soar to higher than normal unmedicated levels and this hypertension can readily break the smallest arterioles in the eyes.
