Hi-had my first IUI and finish the 2ww on Wed. Feel bloated and moody, not a good sign I am thinking for results. So frustrating to wait! I am worried b/c my husband is only willing to try 3 times and success rate is so low. Seems so unfair sometimes...

Fertility is definitely a heart tugger. I mean a lot of heart breaking things come out of going through fertility treatments but on the same note a lot of miracles come from it as well. Keep your head up you have come to the right site we are having a lot of women come back pregnant recently. Enjoy your 2ww I guess if you have never been pregnant naturally right now your are the closest you have ever come to being pregnant congratulations! Keep us posted with your Positive!!

Rock0307: If everything has been checked out physically for you and your dh, 3 attempts is reasonable and practical. Now, I'm not sure how much effect the TYPE of FSH stims the doc put you on (if any); but if you are both healthy, the odds are good.
Are you seeing a specialist or just your ob/gyn?? I know you want the first cycle to work. Believe, we paid A LOT of money out of pocket with the injectibles for 2 cycles... But hang in there. And know that signs of pg often are similar to PMS. I really didn't think my 2nd IUI worked, but it did.

Thanks everyone. I am so nervous, and I can't seem to concentrate. I just want to know. 2ww is tough!
Seeing an RE. Have PCOS and have been tortured by Glucophage and low carb diet for last 8 weeks. Just can't stick to it...Had IUI 6/13 and 6/14 and a few days later progesterone level was low so more ovidrel. I cried most of that day because no one in RE office told me what it meant. Finally found out it might still be OK. Wish RE's office was more open and caring.
How do you cope with BFN? How do you all keep your strength and hopes? Not having gone through IUI and Infertility before, I want to try to keep the disappointment at bay...
