So I woke up this mornig and noticed some spotting and I don't think that it is implantation spotting. Not that i even know what implantation spotting is or looks like. It is day 9 past IUI..usually the spotting starts around day 10 and then I get AF full force 5 days later. I don't know maybe I should switch medication or something it just doesn't seem normal to me that i start spotting so early...doesn't that mean that my progesterone is dropping too quickly? anyway, i went on a walk for an hour and a half with my dog to let out some steam...i can't even cry anymore. ok...enough of my complaining. I hope everyone else has better luck than we did this month.

Don't give up yet! My friend had lots of spotting in her 2 WW and now she's the proud mother of a beautiful 6-week-old baby boy. Keep the faith for a few more days and then you'll know for sure. Thinking of you!

Koukla, so sorry to hear your spirits are down today ~ this whole process is so much to deal with :dizzy: I am quite moody myself today because AF came - not that I was expecting her not to show her ugly face this month, but it is always disappointing. I agree with CHJH - you're not out of the game yet!! Hang in there. I am hoping & praying that this is your time. And don't apologize because you had to vent. That's why we all come here, for support. Keep your chin up hon, sending TONS of sticky baby dust your way ;)

While new to the site, I can tell that you have the support of so many people when having a bad day or even a good one. I was so frustrated last night, but after reading the posts, realized that hope is all we have (plus a little help from modern medicine). Don't give up, I know I won't.

Don't give up yet, koukla!! "Cautiously optimistic." Right? I felt the same way (but didn't have any spotting) - 'maybe this didn't work. These cramps feel like AF.' If the spotting stops after today, maybe that will be a good sign!

I used to spot for 3 or so days before AF, too.

thanks so much for all of your replies. I just can't snap out of it today. my dh is on his way home from a fishing trip so we are going to see a movie this afternoon to cheer us both up. Today is my day off so i want to do something fun. Hopefully the spotting will stop but I really don't think it will. This month was such a short cycle for me. I usually get AF on day 31 and start to spot on day 26-27 and today is day 21. I ovulated earlier than normal too. I don't know...my RE's nurses don't seem to concerned but it worries me a little. thanks again...baby dust to you all!
