I can be a hypochondriac...I admit that. But this is so odd. Two weeks ago I had very light green discharge. It was more of a green tint. Anyway...I assumed it was BV but it was none of the above. No BV, no STD's ect...The Dr. didn't seem too worried about it. Plus when he was examining me he said the discharge inside my vagina was white and normal.Well it went away after a couple of days for about a week and now I'm having it again. Somedays it's normal, the next it will green tinged. I don't have an odor, or irritation or pain, including abdominal pain. No pain during intercourse, no bleeding between periods. Well once, but it was nothing to worry about. Basically I just have occasional green tinged discharge! I am so frustrated. I had a BV infection 2-3 months ago and I was checked for STD's back then too. Everything I look up in my nursing book or online about green discharge is related to an infection or STD. Anyone have a similar situation?

hey colleen,
it really depends on what you mean by green, if its just tinged i get the same thing sometimes and i also dont have any infections. it just looks a very slight greeny yellow in certain lights. i think its perfectly normal. and if you know you dont have any std's then you're fine.

Thats excactly what it looks like! Slightly green yellow tinged in certain lights, that fits it perfect. AT this point I don't even know any other signs and symptoms to look for so I guess I'll just assume it's nothing unless something else pops up.
