Hi Ladies!!!!
I haven't written anything lately. Last Friday evening I started on a really bad flare. It is a little nit better. But whew!!! It came on like a mac truck. Couldn't walk or anything. I finally called the doc b/c I couldn't sleep. Rx's Ambian.
First off my husband and I didn't realize to take and then go lay in bed right away!! It scared him. B/c immediately I almost passed out. I was trying to eat a bowl of cereal and wam!!! Had to stagger to my room. Slept all night with very little hangover. NExt time I'll only take half and then go go staight to bed no messing around.
I mean I slept all night!!!!!
Hope you all are good

Deena,

I hope you let us know if the extra sleep helps you get rid of your flare.

Best wishes.

This med made me very depressed. Also there have been problems with people getting up during the night and cooking or driving, etc. Be very careful with this med if you take it all.

Ambien never did anything for me when I was taking it. I usually would still be awake an hour or so later.

I use it after everything else fails. But I cut the pill in half because I felt "hung over" the next morning. I take 5 mg. and have never had any problems with it. But I'm so sleep deprived I could feel "foggy" if I took the Ambien or not.

Thanks all for your input. I have not taken it since that first night. The next night I was scared. Then I read old post where some people even Blue I think have tried it and it does wonders for some people. I just didn't get the warning to take in bed or go DIRECTLY to bed after. I will do as others say and half the pill. B/c I was not hung over at all and didn't wake up once!!!!! It was heavenly. But....Tyler my 4 year caught the flu and obviously I can't be wacked out on pills and help the baby throw up and other things! As soon as he recovers I will try half a pill in bed!!!!!
Thanks Deena

Mom, I love ambien it is great for me but yes I got the warning to get straight in bed. I agree though you can't be 'zonked' with a four year old. When our grandson stays with us I don't take the ambien, I am afraid I won't hear him if he wakes up and needs something.
