Hey everyone.

I am currently going through the typical doctor jump around to find out what might be wrong with me

I am a 37yr old female and have had some odd things for many years, however just in the past months things have really stirred up. Some of my symptoms are

Blue feet when cold
Fatigue
Joint pain
Hair loss and thinning -
lots of colds and flu one each month it seems
anxiety
headache almost daily
insomnia
irregular periods
Burning scalp
Numb tounge
burning on skin various parts of body
Odd unexplained lip swelling only on one side

These are just a few. I am trying to piece the puzzle together. I had an unexplained miscariage in the middle of my pregnancy my water broke. After that I had two years of infertility

Durring my last pregnancy I had an irritable uterus and lots of pain and contractions. Something happened to my vision about 4 times where I got big white spots and all my vision whited out I could nto see for about 20 minutes.

Sorry I dont mean to write a book LOL At any rate I had ANA ESR testing normal also thyroid checked for antibodies and tsh all normal. I just had all that repeated last week and should know something soon. I just went to my obgyn to get my hormones checked as well

So there you have it. Anyone else have problems like me? LOL

Thanks for listening:)

Hi -

I have lupus and have the annoying problem of thinning hair and hair loss, too. Bummer. I was dxed at age 48 and also have Reynaud's (cold, bluish feet, fingers), fatigue, joint pain, frequent headaches, and an almost constant runny nose. I do not have anxiety, imsomnia, or the other things on your list.

Perhaps two of the stickies at the top of the lupus board would be enlightening for you to read. They are "Criteria to Dx Lupus" and "antiphosphoidlipoid syndrome". This syndrome is associated with pregnancy loss, too.

Wishing you well - Barbara

Yes, I think you would benefit from coming over to the Lupus board and doing some reading of posts of those with similar symptoms to yours. What you describe sounds like an autoimmune disease. Mysterious miscarriages happen to many women who have a specific clotting disorder. You can have this without having lupus, but it can also go along with lupus. No way to know if yours was due to this before, but you can get tested to see if you have the clotting factor in your blood. From reading your list of symptoms, looks like you may have several secondary disorders going on, like Reynaud's, and perhaps some vasculitis. I would not dare to say you have these things, but since you are feeling so bad, it couldn't hurt to rule them in or out. It has been a couple of months since you posted this, so I hope by now you have some answers and are getting treatment and feeling better. Good luck!
