Anyone know what the differences are between these two BP meds. I know they are both calcium channel blockers. The amlodipine (norvasc) was giving me intense foot pain when increased and 5 mg didnt do much for my blood pressure. Thanks

sporti,

Since they are very similar (both dihydropyridines) I would imagine both will give you that foot problem. Since the felodipine is generic, it's a LITTLE cheaper.

If you want to try a more different channel blocker, try verapamil or diltiazem.
