my friend told me she has genital herpes and she has opted to treat the bumps with tea tree oil because according to her it works better than what her doc prescribed.

she told me that now she has patchy hair growth down in the public area from where she had the outbreaks and when they healed. according to her over the years where ever she has outbreaks she said the pubic hair doesn't grow back in that area.

i don't think that is true and i assume that something else must be going on with her or that the stuff she is treating her outbreaks with is causing the problem but she swears it is true. she gets regular checkups and her doc never said anything about the appearance of the hair but she never brings it up either.

so is it true that where an outbreak heals the hair doesn't grown back or is something else is wrong with her?
