Hi,
I am not a doctor but I have asked doctors about HIV so I do have knowledge about HIV. about the Hairy leukoplakia are you sure it is that? Also do you smoke or use any kind of tabacco products? because if you do then it could be smoker's keratosis. Also have you every had in thing done to your teeth like fillings? I will tell you something from experience looking online for symptoms because every symptoms you can think of like flu, cold, pain in the chest, nausea, red bumps, they will all say it is related to HIV. Reason why is because HIV can weaken your immune system so it is easier to catch these things and take longer to heal. Also every symptom and condition there is always more than one thing that causes it. You are having anxiety problems as well, I have been through what you been through. Also it is hard for man to get HIV from a woman if it is penis to Vagina. ANAL is a high risk. Was you protected or unprotected? Also from what I doctor said it could take years for someone to develop a serious sickness like Hairy Leukoplakia. Relax a little. You can get tested in 6 weeks if you are negative that is 80% sure.

Thankyou for the replies, I had vaginal sex only unprotected with somebody I met at work (too much alchol involved), I dont smoke and I've had nothing diagnosed, I have the typical corrugated tounge with white patches, my glands have been up and I have an ache in my shoulder and severe fatigue and strange itches all over my body, I realise the stress plays a part I think its the tounge that worries me most, it appears exactly as described on the medical sites,
Once again thankyou

Hi,
Have you ever had anything done to your teeth by a dentist. Well the best way to know for sure is just do a test. Anxiety also makes a lot of things happen and it makes things see worst then it is. If you tested at wk 6 then that is a 80% chance you are good if you are negative. Dont be afraid to go to the doctors, you will live longer if they catch it real early. There are millions of people who have the Virus, but you just have to live with it. But the odds are always in your Favor either way it goes. Go to the doctors Now and get a checkup and have them check your problems. Also do a search and check other things like, Flu, chest pain it will also say HIV can cause this. Dont look at medical sites for information no matter how real it seems many things can cause these signs not just HIV. I was once real worried, stessed and have a lot of anxiety. I talked to a doctor and I thought about many things and I calm myself down and I am not worried anymore. I once was so afraid because I never got sick so much. But it was because I was depressed and then I started to worry about things and this popped in my head. I started to notice things I got worried. But soon I realized I was just freakin out. The signs I gotten have always been there I just didnt notice them in I had anxiety problems. Not getting checked up does nothing for you. Anxiety can seriously hurt you and so can stress.
