DH diabetic for 10 years on insulin 2x a day, Metformin, Starlix, Actos, Altace. last night, he was feelling lousy. He looked lousy too. He said he was in pain/achy from his neck down to his hips. He went to bed at 8: 30 last night and slept straight through. He was very tired. This AM, he gets up for work and still feels lousy. He did have a fever of 101 this AM. He thought he could go to work, but he came home within an hour. He had the chills then the sweats alternating last nite and this morning and last night. I told him go to urgent care and not wait for his 2:45 dr. appt this afternoon since that was the soonest they could get him in. Any idea what could be going on with him? I'm scared right now and just wating for the darn phone to ring. He's 40 years old and in good physical shape otherwise. Thanks.

It's funny you mention that, because I have been getting the feeling as well that he is on WAY too many medications. I would think that sooner or later, they would have a major effect on his organs. I'll post when I hear from him. Should be very soon. THANKS

He just called as I hit SEND on that last post. He went in his temp was 99, his BS was 330 and they said he had the FLU and it was normal for his BS to rise like that when he's sick. He thinks his fever was breaking, cause he was all clammy when he got there. So, rest and water. WOW, I didn't expect something so "common", he never goes to the Dr and he certainly wouldn't have if he "knew" he had the flu. Ah well, at least we know and it's not something major. Thanks ;)
