The doc put me on bc pills because I was having a period every two weeks. The first pill I was on, worked for a bit and then started having the periods every two weeks. She then changed me to another pill (ovcon) and that has worked well for the past.....7 or so months. But now it has started again where I am having a period every two weeks despite the pill.
My main question is, does this mean I'm still protected against pregnancy or does this mean, that the pill is not working for me and my chances of getting pregnant are higher??
Thanks!

Spotting/bleeding does not mean that the pill is less effective in preventing pregnancy. It only means that the pill isn't strong enough to regulate your cycles.

Thanks for the reasurrance!!
I'm to the point where I'm used to the spotting/periods....but I started worrying there when I started to think about possibly not being protected against pregnancy cause we haven't been using a back up recently.
