I got my black travel pack for my Forteo from Eli Lilly today. NICE! Their computer must have had the hiccups or something. I had two parcels from Lilly and both labels had the same "order" number on it. I got two very nice black travel packs, 4 freezer packs for each travel pack and 3 sets of literature w/each travel pack. Someone here had said when they contacted Lilly for one of the new travel packs they were told the packs were on back order so wanted to let everyone know that they are in and being shipped.

I didn't mention that in my post last time but they also sent me two bags also. The first time just the bag as they were supposedly out of all the other stuff and the next time time sent me a package with all the literature, CD, packs , etc. Someone had also mentioned to me about the small grey hard case that holds the pen in the refrig and also a place for three needles. I called them and they sent that two also. They do try to be very accomodating, I think..

Let me know if you or anyone else uses the new black bag and puts in the two frozen packs. Let me know how long they keep the pen cold. It is supposed to be about 10 hours with this new bag and frozen packs. I chickened out on my last plane trip and left it at home.

I will take it on my next trip as it is a very short one. I also asked for a refrig/freezer in my hotel room but will take my little portable mini refrig ( you can get from WalMart or Academy)just in case I do not get one in our room.
