Hi I'm nmew here but was curious if anyone knows the possibility of getting pregnant on the pill if you take them daily but not at the same time everyday? TIA

Well i hope if you arent taking them at the same time everyday that you are least doing it with a 1-2 time frame. not taking one at like 1pm and then the next day at 8pm..that's not good.

The pill is 99.9% effective. The more you miss pills or do not take them at the same time..the more that effectiveness goes down. They are only 99.9% effective when using them CORRECTLY. Even then, when using correctly, women have gotten pregnant on them. I am also on OTC LO and have been for a year. That whole year, i have made sure ive took my pill religiously. I have never gotten pregnant on it. I suppose i am one of the lucky ones, but tons of other women dont get pregnant on it either. Although you hear the horror stories about OTC LO, keep in mind they aren't true for everyone.

My advice is...if you want to at least make sure your pill is working, and at least hope that you wont get pregnant on it...then take your pill on time. Is it really that hard to do if the consequences could result in pregnancy?
