I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed that the amount of progesterone in Yaz is 3mg? This is really high compared to a lot of pills that only have .15 or, at most 1mg. Yaz seems to have triple the amount. Does anyone know what this amount of progesterone does to the body?

You can't really go by that. Each progestin is different and is measured differently. Drosperione tends to make some women feel tired, depressed and moody. In addition you can't certain medications with Drosperione such as Motrin, Advil or Aleve but you can take these with other progestins.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't certain whether the increased amount of progestin would lead to, say increased breast swelling, moodiness, tiredness, etc....
