Hi... I was just wondering if anyone could help. I have (sometimes) this kind of gurgly sound underneath my ribs on the right side. At times I get it in the center underneath my sternum at the top of my stomach. The sound only appears when I am sort of leaning over or sometimes laying down. Sometimes there is a popping sound as well. Switching positions does help. It is fine when I am standing. Just wondering if anyone has ever experienced this? This has been ongoing for about 2 or 3 years now. It worries me very much. My doctor never really said anything about it. Any suggestions to what it might be? Thank you :-)

I have noticed the same thing! My guess is it is Gall Bladder but not sure. Mine seems to be related to my GERDS and Barrients eshophagus. I feel it in bed at night when I go to sleep. I hope it will go away when I get my acid reflux under control. When I was taking NEXIUM I didn't notice it at all. NEXIUM had side effects after six months so I am now on PREVACID. Hope it will work as well. I let you know in a few days if it goes away with this PREVACID.
