Hey everyone my name is John...im probally being a hypochondriact but on my last Hematology profile this past saturday, My white blood cell count was a 4.4...normal being from 4.5 to 13.0...my doctor saw the blood tests and didnt mention anythign when i spoke to him but it kind of freaked me out and i was wondering if anyone thinks i should maybe get tested because of this.

Your white count was .1 below norm and you think you should be tested? Did you have a cold, recovering from a cold, have a healing wound, tooth ache, etc.

Unless you can suggest a possible risk that you've had that would have exposed you to HIV, then I'm not sure there is enough reason to get tested? Is that they only thing that your blood work indicated? chris
