Where to buy them is not. don'tlikecold 07-02-2006, 08:13 PM I think I've tried them all at one time or another. Crest strips are the best low cost whitener but if you can spend the money, GoSmile is worth it. Still much less than at the dentists and works really well. Make sure you follow the directions completely to get the best results with any product you choose. Most people who don't have good results didn't do exactly what were in the instructions. Also remember that these whiteners are for yellowish stains due to age, food, coffee, wine, and cigarette stains. They don't work on the grayish discolorations. GoSmile whitened my teeth by about 5 shades and so fast. I think it's worth the extra money. Also, you need to order the cups that the gel go in. It's pretty much useless with the gel alone. It's very powerful and will burn your tissues for one but you need it to hold the gel against the teeth. You don't necessarily need the custom ones but they are very nice to have. If you have one that is pliable, make sure you heat it in hot water first so it will form to your teeth. Some are harder plastic and don't form as well therefore, they don't allow the gel to adhere well. Crest strips will whiten but will take longer and won't give you as much whitening as GoSmile. I thought Rembrandt was okay but not as good as Crest and certainly not as good as GoSmile. Susan missummer 10-02-2006, 01:19 AM I think I've tried them all at one time or another. Susan Crest whitestrips made my teeth HURT! tUrRrRa 10-02-2006, 01:48 PM If GoSmile works in only 5 days and will burn your tissues, would it be really bad for sensitive teeth? I also had problems with Crest Whitestrips. I had the Professional Supreme ones that you can only get at the dentist. They made my teeth throb really bad and it was an awful feeling. Now I can use the regular Whitestrips but only on my top teeth! I just bought that new whitening pre-brush rinse and I hope it works! soon2bmommy 10-02-2006, 09:05 PM Crest whitestrips made my teeth HURT! Me too! I just started brushing with baking soda, GROSS! But I'm hoping it will work wishn 10-02-2006, 11:37 PM First time trying I decided to bargain and bought the popular drug store brand, the actually worked great. It took about two weeks. Keep in mind these strips do nothing for bridges and crowns. Work those smiles everyone.... |
