Hiya all, I wax my bikin area and yes it hurts but thats not the problem, it is the fact that no matter what I do I alway seem the get ingrowm hair. There painful and normally I squeeze them to remove the hair  and they leave a scar after.
Anyone know how to prevent getting ingrowns or what I can do to remove them?

I have recently found that exfoliating with a Buf Puf (Gentle/for the face) while in the shower is very good for getting rid of ingrown hairs on the bikini line. You would probably have even better results pairing it with an AHA, BHA or salicylic acid treatment after getting out of the shower, but I've yet to try this.

Someone here posted on the beauty tips thread that if you use anti-perspirant, you won't get the ingrown hairs and bumps after shaving. I wonder if it will work for waxing too.

Maybe some of the other tips like the aspirin mask or the calamine and baking soda paste to get rid of facial blemishes will work too. That aspirin mask is so great!

use a sponge to wash your body. i use scotch brite delicate duty. the pink one. it may feel rough at first. but you will get used to it and won't feel clean and exfoliated without it. just put body wash on the scrubby part of the sponge and scrub scrub scrub. trust me i used to wax practically EVERYTHING.
