About a week ago, I noticed about 4-6 little red bumps on the lower part of the shaft of my penis and on the scrotum only on the right side in a small area. This occured about 2 days after I shaved the area with hair clippers. They don't hurt, they don't itch. The last time that I had sex was about 10 months ago and it was unprotected but I had been tested after that and was clean. A couple of them I was able to pop but the other ones are just red bumps. Part of me tries not to be worried, the other part of course is extremely paranoid. I'd go to the doctor but Im to scared of what the diagnosis would be.

Any help?

could be folliculitis, or an inflaming of your hair follicle cells or some other skin irritation due to shaving. I'd keep an eye on it, if you don't notice any change after 2 weeks, go see a dermatologist.

And as far as being "clean," remember, there is no blood / urine / saliva test for genital warts, and it is the most common STD (aside from HSV1 which I don't think even counts as an STD anymore). 4 out of 5 people will be exposed to it at some point in their life, so think about those odds next time you decide not to use a condom...

Well, i just realized I had some abrasive face wash, so I've tried that and It seems like the redness has gone down and and has reduced the size of them. I'm not saying they are gone but Im gonna keep using it and if they are not gone by Friday morning I'm definately going to go see a doctor
