Sponsor Anjjou72 07-04-2006, 06:34 AM Water is the single best and most important beverage for you, and really there is nothing else that comes close to being as important as water. I too drink water solely 95% of the time. Occasionally I'll have fresh OJ or apple cider, once in a while I crave something carbonated like diet orange soda, and when it comes to social drinking, it's light beer for me. I don't drink coffee or tea, and I can't do any dairy, so even though I LOVE milk I can't have it. In my case, I have to take calcium supplements because of my lack of intake. Having water as your primary beverage is a great thing, and for many people this unfortunately isn't the case. My husband is one of them, but I'm slowly trying to turn him around! Lenin 07-04-2006, 09:34 AM Water all day is perfectly fine. Put an upper limit on it though...perhaps 150 ounces unless you are working out in a hot environment? You can flush out too many electrolytes and wind up with "water intoxication" (aka hyponatremia.) |
