My name is Katt and I am looking at a 3rd attempt to quit. At this point I am cutting back on how much I smoke and as soon as I can I intend to try a hypnotist.

I went to the hypnotist for anxiety problems and it worked so I hope it will work for addiction.

I have a question for anyone who may know, I bought some disposable filters the other day that claim to lower the tar & nicotine in your cig. I cannot find any info on whether this is a true claim or not.. I have not found anything that says, "it works" or anything that says "does not work"

I see there are a few different types & brands, well maybe 2 types, a water and then a plastic filter.

I didn't think they would work and I am still not sure but the 1st 24 -36 hours I felt like I was going thru withdraw. I was extremely tense and irritable. I also am now smoking less than I was.....

There is also a brand of cigs that step down the nicotine, I have been using those too but they hurt my throat a bit...

Any ideas on these types of filters?
