Well friends...I did it!! I just took my last dose of Xeloda this morning! NO MORE CHEMO! (of course assuming that tomorrow's CT scans are clear...they BETTER be!)

Just wanted to share the joy! It has been a rough year (almost upon my 1 year anniversary)...but your support and cyber friendship has been so great. Thank you all.

Happy 4th!

Thank you all for your kindness and support! I won't be leaving this board any time soon...Now that I am a "Senior Veteran" I hope to help the "newbies" like you all helped me.

Larbo's Wife - hope the reversal goes well...we'll have to swap stories and tips later this month.

Cinda- Great to hear from you. How are you feeling? Your wedding must be coming up very soon...best wishes! Have a great honeymoon, too!

Take care!

Cats... I MUST correct you! You are a "Senior Member." ;) You have not yet gained the stature that many of us have worked to gain on this board. I'm sorry, but you are going to have to sweat it out answering and helping others for a while yet before you reach the esteemed "Senior Veteran" level!:D

In all seriousness though... your advice is worth a million bucks and for all intense and purpose, you should be a "Senior Veteran.":)

So keep up the good work!

Fondly,
CD

I stand corrected! Maybe some day I'll get my Senior Veteran badge. :p

Just got GREAT news!! All clear on the CT scans! (Aside from ANOTHER kidney stone...my 12th or so...but I'll take that ANY day!!!) Now I just have a follow-up w/the oncologist then I can focus on getting my butt back!

Off to celebrate!

Take care,
Cats

Way to go!!! Celebrate, party hard, then go get your butt back :)

My love goes out to you, but don't aspire to get your Vet badge. I say this to the doc and nurses, "I think your are are wonderful and my goal is to never have to see you again...."
