I recently found out I'm lactose intolerant, so I got some Soy milk to drink but it made me almost as sick as regular milk. Since soy milk isn't even really milk and doesn't contain any lactose how is it making me sick?
I'm trying to gain weight (muscle through lifting) so I need all the extra protein and healthy calories I can get, so I'm kinda bummed that I can't drink milk or even soy milk...
Anyone have any explanations about why soy would make me sick... was it mayabe just in my head?

They have this thing called Milk Soy Protein Intolerance (MSPI). You can do a search on the internet and find some information. I couldn't find a good educational site to post here but there is information in the sites you'll find.
