My cousin's partner may have Asbestosis, he's going in for a bi-opsy next week. He has a tumour in his lung, is couging up blood, and has shortness of breath and fatigue and has asbestos scarring showing in his lungs.

The doctor very carefully didn't mention cancer, but his wife died of asbestosis so he is pretty sure that is what the doctors were hinting at, and as a plumber he was exposed to asbestos on a regular basis.

I'm trying to find some on-line chats where I can find out more about the disease, and what is the likelihood of him being correct in his assumption. Or if anyone here could give me some information.

I'm not the best web searcher in the world, and here is the first forum or chat I've found where there are people. Any assistance would be deeply appreciated.
