View Full Version : Keep sandels from slapping on feet

This might sound a little silly/weird:confused: - but I hate:nono: when I wear sandels and my feet slap against them everytime I take a step. I had heard that people were using Monistat Chafing Relief Gel as a makeup primer (LOVE IT! :D works better than any other primer I've used) and began using it. Then one day I was putting on my sandels and thought why not put some on my heels and maybe it would keep them from making that "slap". Sure enough - it works perfectly. Just be careful not to put in on the entire sole of your foot or you'll slip right out of your shoes:eek:

Hope this is helpful to others with this same annoyance:wave:

Funny. I just bought some to use with my sandals too. But to keep them from chafing and sticking on my bare feet. I saw a tip on TV about using this silicone gel divers use to help them put on their wetsuits, but never pass by a dive or surf shop. So I decided to try this stuff. I think the wet suit stuff would be cheaper though. I found it on the web for $6 and I believe it is a larger container.

I didn't know that was what people were talking about when the talked about using monistat as a primer. They usually just said Monistat, who have a lot of products, but are mostly about yeast infections and vaginal itching.

Hey Lindamm!
That's funny that you are using it for your feet too!

I know what you mean about being confused when I first heard about people using Monistat as a primer. I thought "why/how on earth would something for vaginal itching work as a makeup primer?" but I did some asking and found they were talking about the chafing gel. I tell ya - it works as well, if not better than some of the most expensive brands of primers on the market. Smooths out my enlarged pores, fills in my fine lines and give my skin a glass like appearance. Highly recommend it. Plus it's a heck of a lot cheaper than the expensive brands. Now that you have some, give it a try.

Have a great day!
Dee
