View Full Version : Would Estrogen Work In Preventing....

More hair loss?

I'm 38 and I'm not bald or anything close to being bald. But, I have lost some hair around my temples and a very small amount from my hair line.

I've been doing some research about taking estrogen to prevent further hair loss. Not to grow back what you've already lost.

I'm curious if anyone has any experience with this?

Thanks!

You definitely dont want to be taking estrogen. Increased estrogen in males can cause prostate cancer and also gyno(female breast characteristics).

Most male hair loss is due to testosterone being converted to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Finasteride at 1mg would be the best thing to try.
