I wasn't wondering if anyone here is taking Lotrel? My doctor has me on 20 m benazepril + 5 mg norvasc, but isn't taking one Lotrel basically the same thing. It would more convinient for me and cheaper taking one pill versus 2.

Strangely enough, no, your doctor is doing you a small favor.
I priced them out at my fave low price pharmacy (30 days worth):
Lotrel 5-20: $72.99
Benazepril 20: $23.99
Norvasc 5: $45.99
Total as separate meds: $69.98
Another upside of taking them separately is that it is easier for you determine which component is causeing an unwanted side effect.
