Im an 18 year old male. Last Friday (30th june) my girlfriend stayed at my house for three days and we had unprotected sex. About three days later, i noticed some small red bumps (1-2mm maybe) on the head of my penis. These have since turn into small white bumps of the same size and now have turned into a red rash! There is no itching, discharge or burning sensation when i urinate which leads me to believe i dont have any of the common STI's floating around. There is a slight tingling sensation from time to time but its never constant.
I have asked my girlfriend if she has been tested for anything recently and she assures me she has and is completely clear, which i believe mainly due to the fact that we have had unprotected sex before this occasion with no aftermath such as this one.
I have decided to go a few weeks and see what happens before i go and see a GP.
Has anybody had anything similar to this or have any feedback for me to read? Im understandably worried about the situation.
Regards,

YES
my boyfriend has the same thing, but they didnt turn white.
They were just little bumps, almost like a rash of some sort.
We did infact have unprotected sex, because we were both tested before doing so..
im the first person he's had unprotected with..so we found the reaction almost normal.
i booked myself in with my doctor, for next week to be tested..and told him to do the same thing.
i think he's going to do the same as you, wait a bit and see what happens with it all.. because really it could just be a reaction to.. skin exposure to something it's never been exposed to.
What'd your girlfriend do when you told her? and did she have a reaction of somesort?

Hey,
My girlfriend was adamant that this isnt any type of infection because she swears down on being clear of infections. She also said it could just be a passing reaction on the skin but naturally, im worried about it.
We have had unprotected sex before this but never as many times so it could very well be a skin reaction!
Thanks for the reply

you're welcome for the reply.
Im in the same situation at the moment, and ive been tested, and have had nothing..
i've had unprotected with him many times as well, so im thinking it could possibly be a skin condition.
hope everything works out for you, let me know if you hear anything.

Almost gone? Funny thing about that type of STD symptom. That's what they do. They appear for a little while, and then go away, so the person thinks "oh, it's gone, I'm fine." while in fact it is only the sympton that has gone, not the STD. You have to go to get it checked while you still have the sore, so the doc has something to swab.
And not all STDs have discharge and painful urination as symptoms (e.g. syphillis and herpes).
BUT, that is not to say I think you do in fact have an STD, just trying to point out the error of your logic. Waiting it out is not the thing to do when you think you might have an STD.

Thisby is so RIGHT- have it checked immediately. Go to the ER if you have to for a swab before they are completely gone. It is a fact that many STD's appear as described (not saying you have on) and then lie dormant for years sometimes. The worst case scenario is that it does go away, but was an STD and will cause greater problems for you when it resurfaces, and it will. Not to mention the fact that if you do have an STD you will pass it to other people without knowing. Rule of thumb- when in doubt, check it out!

I have the same symptoms... red rash, little bumps. bit of tingling. The tingling last 2-3 weeks and 3 doctors and 1 nurse said it was not herpes and just some sort of rash or fungus... They did all of the blood work except herpes.
They gave me some lotriderm cream last week which is making it go away but i've still heard of people with the same symptoms having herpes.
Going to a std specialist tomorrow for another app and a skin doc the week after... whatever this is, is pissing me off as it seems lots of people have it, but nothing to document it. also in and around the same timeframe as the rash my "pink pearly papules" have become more noticible. ... odd.
