I have a hard lump on my upper inner right thigh about an inch from where my leg meets with my groin. It has been there before and gets extremely irritated sometimes. It is about the size of a pea right now but when irritated becomes about 2-3 times larger a very painful. I first noticed it a year or 2 ago. It went away but comes back occaisionally. I don't see any ingrown hairs. I work out alot (not sure if that has anything to do with it), and have been told I have feliculitis, but this is the only place that gets this big and painful. Any information will be appreciated.

... have you consulted a doctor already?
the doctor told me I had feliculitis a long time ago before this ever started to happen, but that's it.
