View Full Version : Henna hair dye and perms?

Due to an allergy with my regular hair dye I used a henna dye. I like the dye but found out I can't have a perm with it, and I like to wear my hair curly. The henna dye package says you can have a perm with the dye if it's a cold acid perm or non-alkaline perm. Does anyone know if there is a home perm that would be either of those type of perms? I'm really getting discouraged with my hair. I've spent hours trying to find a hair dye that doesn't contain sulfates or a perm that I can use with the henna dye. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
