Hi, I am new to this site, and have found lots of helpful information here.
I suffer from migraines with aura's. I have been getting them for about 3 years now and the first migraine I had with the aura scared me to death. I was eating a bowl of vegetable soup and the light reflecting on the soup suddenly seemed to be in my line of vision. Before long, my entire line of vision was obscured. I had to lay down with a cold washcloth over my eyes until it went away. The migraine lasted around two hours. I was wondering if anyone else has the same sensitivity to light as I do. On sunny days, I can't drive down roads where there are lots of trees lining the road without getting a pounding headache. The sun flashing between the trees just about kills me. Also, I am very sensitive to light in just about any circumstance...such as if there's reflections or glares on TV screens I can't look at the screen. I can't look out windows with the window blinds open. Something about the lines the light makes hurts my eyes and gives me a headache or migraine. If someone is wearing glasses and there's a light reflecting off of their glasses, I can't see their eyes and it makes my eyes feel bad. I can go outside in the sun without any problems. I think it has something to do with the patterns of light and the lines and things like that that bother me. I also can't stand to have the radio in the car playing if I'm trying to talk to someone. I get very irritated when there's too much sound. I just can't handle a lot of commotion.
Anyone else like this?

I am definitely like this, but only usually after the headache has started. I need silence, darkness, and medication to resolve my migraines. Works 95% of the time for me.
