This is actually a serious question.......I'm not quite the Metroman so I figured I'd come here & ask under Beauty & cosm. & the ladies could lead me down the right path. Nevertheless, I received this gift package of assorted bath items...shaving cream, razors, cologne & shower gel..............My question.....What is Shower Gel?........Put on during the shower? Before? After?.........I have no clue........If it's before or during......you make sure it's all rinsed off ...correct?......& one more thing....it smells pretty good but is there a such thing as applying to much...such as ppl do with cologne? Thanks IN Advance for any guidance......

its basically like soap. just use it as you would soap. then, rinse it all off. i dont think you can really use too much, it shouldnt be that strong.

Shower gel usually doesn't leave much of a scent, so you can use a lot. Just put some on a loofah/sponge/wash cloth or whatever and use it like you would soap. If you have dry skin, I recommend body wash versus shower gel. It's pretty much the same but body wash is less drying. Olay Complete Body Wash for extra dry skin is good. If you're worried about the scent though, just use Dove body washes. They moisturize and they just smell like regular soap.:wave:

A lot of guys I know really like shower gels.. especially the Axe kinds or similar brands. They do smell good.. but I agree that a lot of the smell washes off anyway. I think shower gels are better than soap.. they don't leave a residue on your skin and make you feel fresh! I use a little bath puff thing for my body wash/shower gel, but even if you don't have anything like that you can just pour it into your hands and use like soap!
