Hi,

I have recently been diagnosed with gallstones. I have been having lots of small frequent attacks luckly none so severe that I have ended up at the hospital. I do have a lot of shoulder (right) and neck pain, has anyone else with gallbladder problems experienced this?

I am actually having surgery on Friday to remove my gallbladder. I am very nervous any words of wisdom? For those of you that have had surgery did you feel better immediately?

All I can give you is a success story. I friend of mine had to have emergency surgery to have his gallbladder removed. He was in the hospital for a few days and he has done well ever since. Some people have problems like diarrhea after the removal. Look at Katie G posts and you may get some help there.
