Hi,indeed you my have a inner ear infection, or fluid in your inner ear it will cause that full "pressure" feeling especially when lying down with the opposite ear down. it can cause dizziness, headaches, excessive popping sounds, fever ect...even a simple wax build up can cause weird probs. hard to say??

If you already have anxiety, it's much more likely the anxiety. The way I found out it wasn't an inner ear thing for me was I was prescribed a med (can't remember the name) for inner ear problems and it did absolutely nothing. I finally tried an antidepressant (Effexor) and the feeling disappeared completely.

inner ear infections do not hurt. i was dx'ed with one and its slowly getting better with time. i had bad anxiety before i got it but not nearly as bad and i was never dizzy off balance all the time. now that i am its clear to me that it isn't just anxiety and its an inner ear infection. what happens with that is that the infection is gone but your left with dizziness until you compensate for it. go to the inner ear boards for some info. either way your gonna be fine

Jeffster: You were talking about Effexor and your disassociative feeling, how long did it take when starting Effexor before the disassociative feeling went away?
