View Full Version : An odd problem

Hi there, this is my first post and I'm not sure if I'm in the right place, but I think I am.

On and off for the last few months I've been having this digestive problem. When it happens I'll allways get really queasy after eating breakfast, though I can't throw anything up. It's usually followed by constipation and a lot of gas that I can't get rid of in large quantities.

The problem slowly receeds during the day and I end up feeling relatively fine by about noon, and occasionally can even eat lunch with no effects. I'm almost always fine by dinner. I think this would mean that it only happens when I eat after being very hungry for a while, but I could be wrong and am more than open for suggestions.

I've tried altering my diet but there is no change in the symptoms. I haven't gone to a doctor yet because these problems disappear just before I decide to go, and everyone decides it was just a "bug" or something.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? Sorry if you think it's kind of a minor thing to post here, I know I certainly think that after reading some of the other cases. But I need to find out what my problem is in case it's serious.

Thanks!

Hi there. Your symptoms could be indicative of ulcer, gall bladder dysfunction, or GERD to name a few. If it's really bothering you enough to post, please see your doctor for a definite diagnosis. Unfortunately, digestive disorders may have similar symptoms and only a doctor can rule out what it might be.

Good luck and keep us posted,
Katie G

Could be Gerd or IBS.
