I went to the Emergency room last night. My not fasting blood sugar was
368. My feet started swelling. I had been on Glusophage a few years ago
and my fasting was 130 and Glusophage made me sick. I had diarrea all the
time. I was dizzy and terrible burning in my stomach. It was horrible.I was on
1000 mg. then my DR. Cut it way down and it was normal.
I have been through a very stressful time Losing a 14 year old son. I went to
a psychitrist and put me on 60 mg of cymbalta. I was still having depression.
I had been on it a year. The sores were so bad on my scalp they bled.
I went to my dermatologist and he told me that the Cymbalta most likely was
causing it. I quit Cold turkey a week ago and went on doxipin, and old school
anti depressant. It is working. I had also been on Cortisone and antibiotics.
The withdrawls are horrible and I understand they can last for weeks. It has
only been the last week I have felt bad. My feet are swelling.
I came home from the hospital with 4mg of amaryl. my feet are still swelling.
I also have an abnormal EKG.
I don't know what is going on. I will go to the DR. Monday. I know something
is wrong if my sugar is that high.
I just wanted some feedback. I was so angry.

Im sure there are others here that have more experience and knowledge then me..but I know that if you are upset..it can play havoc on your sugar..running it high or too low. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Bless your heart and I pray things do look better and brighter for you soon my dear.
