in order to have gall bladder disease ?
I had an ultra-sound (painful) on Saturday ..
Just spoke w/ nurse and it was negative for gallstones ..
Told me she couldn't read the remainder of the report and Dr. would get back w/me late this afternoon.

Hi there. I have posted numerous times here related to my gall bladder problems, so you might want to read my posts to others. I did NOT have gall stones or a gall bladder with low output (as diagnosed by a hida scan), but I suffered for a year with increasing pain, nausea, weight loss, and diarrhea before my GB was removed. The problem? - severely inflamed gall bladder covered in scar tissue.
So, nope, stones aren't the only thing that cause gall bladder problems.
Good luck and keep us posted,
Katie G
