I'm wondering if anyone else has/have had any of this. I have been burping through out the day, not just after meals. I was on Nexium/Zantac for reflux, then after 2 months taken off it. Before the meds I was nauseated every morning after getting out of bed. Sometimes now, i think I might throw up, but I burp instead. I've been to the gastro and he didn't do a scope because I didn't have any pain anymore. He said if the pain came back, then he would schedule a scope. But fortunalty it hasn't. I'm sick of seeing doctors, I've been there so many times. Can anyone relate or offer advice for the excessive burping??

My sister belches all the time and nothing is wrong with her. Try eating smaller meals and stay away from stuff that causes gas - carbonation, raw veggies, etc. (at least that's what does it for me.)
I burp a lot if I eat a big meal. I have a hiatal hernia and I think it might be just too much pressure in that area. If you're regurgitating, that's different from just burping. Keep a log of what you eat each day and when you're burping. Then show your GI doctor. That might help.
