Hi

I have been having teeth extractions, and the owrk has dragged on for years. Partly because I have a blood disorder and need treatments before hand. The third and fourth time - The surgeoon made me sign a consent as my counts were on the low side.

I have hours of treatments before the oral surgery, whi works me up into a really bad state of anx.

Anyway, the last of the teeth are done and I am in recovery, though I feel very traumatised from the whole experience (too long to describe the horror I woent through).

I have been on atenolol for years, and after a kidney angiplasty a few years ago, my BP was quite normal, though I did have to saty on a low dose of atenelol, mainly because coming off of it gives me a rapid heart-beat.

I suffer from dizzy spells in the afternoon, and my BP seems to drop as well as my pulse.

However, since the trauma, it happens nearly all day, then I get a panic attack. Never sure if the panic attack causes it, or it, causes the pancik attack.

Anyone heard of a drop in BP and pulse due to stress/trauma?

Hi again,

I notice a few people get low BP. I am weaning myself off of atenalol - being on only a 1/4 of a 25mg.

Problem. My BP stays in the 112/68 to 130/80 range, but my pulse goes up to 90 and 102 even. Anyone any ideas. Thanks so much
