View Full Version : Niravam withdrawal time?

My mom was put on Niravam for what the doctor THOUGHT was an anxiety disorder, but why did he think that? well, she has claustrophobia and he went and put her in a extremely small room that didn't have windows so she freaked.

He then assumed it was anxiety and prescribed Niravam for her. She was so worked up from being put in such a tiny space that she couldn't pay attention to what my dad and the doctor was saying.

So after four weeks of taking it and having no effect whatsoever, the doctor told her to stop cold turkey(she was only taking 0.5 mg).

How long does it take for the withdrawal effects to wear off? She took the last pill on June 29th but she's still having the effects from stopping them.

She's currently going for adjustments to help relieve the pinched nerve that lead to her visit to that quack-job doctor in the first place.

She should be off of it (weird feelings) very soon. What is she feeling?

As far as I know, she has experienced heightened sensory perception, muscle cramps & twitches, blurred vision and a decrease in her appetite.

And if it helps, she was taking three 0.5 mg pills a day.
