Hi everyone. Its been a while since I posted but am increasingly worried about my 21 year old daughter. She had glandular fever at Christmas - was very ill with swollen glands in neck and underarms. After 3 weeks she went back to university but has never really been fully well. She has had terrible digestion problems - bloating, nausea and constipation. Also various aches and pains and last time she had her WBC done it was slightly raised. She has now told me she can feel a swelling below her collarbone which has been there since last October ( when I felt it I couldnt say I felt anything much). We are back at Docs this week to check WBC again. Am very worried - I suffer badly with HA. Any reassurance anybody?

What were her WBC count if you dont mind me asking. Mine have been elevated the last 2 times I had blood work done. They determined it not be an infection so now they think it has something to do with the tachycardia episodes I had. becasue both times the blood was drawn was after one of them while at the hospital or drs office. Or even that mine are normally just a bit high.
Last November they were 11.6 ( range is 4.3-10.0)
Last Monday they were 13.3 ( normal range again 4.3-10.0)

None of my DR's seem worried at all. I am having a colonoscopy done tomorrow for different reasons but depending on what if anything they find it may or may not explain my levels. But the colonoscopy is not being done because of my levels becasue that Dr doesnt yet know my levels as I hadn't had the blood work done when it was scheduled. Hope it all made sense.

I hope your daughter feels better real soon.
