I have been on birth control pills because they found a cyst on both ovaries so i am on them for a month. For a while they made me sick, but I started taking it with a full meal. So that is getting alot better. Last night when I went to the restroom, i had the worse burning feeling, i thought i was going to scream! I dont know the cause of this! I went to the doc originally because i had left sided pelvic pain. I drink a lot of water daily (over a gallon) so i have a hard time believing it is a UTI.....Every time i have been checked for a UTI it is negative...i am getting a little depressed about this and dont know what to do or where to turn!!!!! Could the original left sided pain been just from the bladder? It is a localized pain, like I can pinpoint the spot. I guess I am just having a hard time with this. I appreciate all the help and support and advice!

Please call your doctor and tell him what you said here. It could be more serious than a bladder infection. Your health is important enough to be persistent until you find out what is causing this. Best wishes, kerri.

Could the original left sided pain been just from the bladder? It is a localized pain, I can't answer your questions, but I can tell you that burning, screaming pain while urinating can be caused by a sore, cut or abrasion in the area of the urine stream, and the way to stop the pain if it is only a cut, and thus to determine that it is a cut in the skin, is to pour warm water onto the stream (diluting it) while urinating.

It only happened tha tone time and i think it is irritation....i have been very careful since then and it has not happened again...thank you!
