What is the normal heartrate for a 2 yr old girl? My daughters resting heart rate is 120. I think it is suppose to be much lower than that. When she was sick with a fever a few weeks ago he resting was 174. They checked it twice.

That is about average. A resting heart rate that is over 130 or below 60 is cause for immediate concern. Our heart rates decrease as we get older and the heart muscle gets stronger. It is not uncommon for the heart rate to increase wtth a fever, but WOW 174. I am sure that was concerning.
