I've been having a lot of neck pain. Sometimes it goes down into my shoulders but mostly it's right in the back of my neck and up into the back of my head or the left side of my head and around my left eye.
Also, sometimes when I lay down on my left side or I turn my head to the left, I get dizzy. It's like the room spins around. If I turn my head the other way, it goes away. I went to my dr and he checked my ears and didn't find anything wrong with them. He just gave me some pills for dizzyness. Should I be concerned about a blocked artery in my neck? I don't know what this is.
I feel like my scineses are plugged up sometimes could that be it?
Thanks for any help you can give me.\

hi celia---i have all the same symptoms. had the ateries in my neck checked and they are clear so i wouldn't worry about that. do have alot going on in my neck. 3 bulged disks, pinched nerve, stenosis and lots of degenerative disk disease.

I have had a lot of stress/anxiety lately. could that be it?
Without getting into it, there has been a lot of stressful things going on in my family right now. My bp is little high but not too bad about 140/77 today.

And, I do have digenative disk disease in my upper back.

i've been stressed out a bit too.. not bad though... i have normal blood pressure 120/78.. so not sure what mine is.. i would think if it were an artery my bp would be higher

That's what I was thinking too. Does stress or anxiety cause dizziness when you lay down? That is what worry's me the most.

My pain seems to have moved to the top of my head and around the front around my eyes and around my ears. Does this sound like tension or scinus?
