:wave: Hi last year i had three pheumothoroxs,after the third one which required a huge chest drain i asked if there was a operation to put a stop to it happening again.Went in two weeks later,docs put a talc into my chest to irritate the chest wall and lung,all in all I was told they would be roughing up the chestwall & lung so when it heals they stick together.Also had lung stapeled where the air was escapeing from.I am on the road to recovery,but i took iburfen for the swelling and think these tablets have hurt stomach,not sure.I am waiting to see a gastro doc now,so you could say i have been in the wars.I have acid reflux,great,would love to have anyones input on this.Would be great to here from someone in the same boat. Check my story out under neumothoraix and you will see, stay away from ibuprofen they are like acid for the stomach and will also irritate your breathing.

Your last surgery should prevent a future pneumothorax. Please avoid Ibuprofen, it is a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory and does cause gastric bleeding.
