i might have to be on a low-carb diet to have everything in control, but what does a low-carb diet consist of?

and do you cheat sometimes and have the No No foods then regreting it later?

The Secret isnt so much Low Carb as it is SAME Carb. if you can eat the Same amount of carb at about the same time every day then it will make things much easier to control.

For breakfast, I usually have a low carb cereal with a few slices of banana and half and half. Coffee with half and half and Splenda. Occasionly I'll have a piece of toast made with bread fairly low in carbs and some low carb jam. Bacon and eggs are great too.

Lunch, I have a sandwich with lots of meat (and maybe tomato, lettuce and mayonaise) on one slice of whole wheat low carb bread, a small salad or cottage cheese and 1/2 beer. There are some good low carb tortillas that can be used to wrap ham and cheese etc.

Dinner is usually meat, often chicken, maybe a small potato, vegetable and salad. Spaghetti made with low carb spaghetti (Dreamfields) and adobo chicken with a small amount of rice are favorites too. There are ice creams and bars made with Splenda for dessert or maybe sugar free pudding.
