View Full Version : What are your moods like in the mornings?

My husband has never been a morning person, but lately, it has gotten even worse. He's often uncontrollable mad, screams, yells, sulks, etc., for the greater part of an hour or more. This morning he screamed at our daughter because she couldn't make up her mind about which shoes she wanted to wear. She's three. I told him that I wouldn't tolerate him being mean to her (this is the first time), and he said ok. Is this part of being bipolar or he just becoming the worst morning person around?

Seems a little extreme, even for a non-morning person. I suspect that could be the bipolar.

I do think it's the bipolar, too. I just called him to check and see if he had taken his meds this morning, and he was ok. He apologized for yelling at Tessa and actually seemed to be in a pretty good mood. I'm not a morning person either, so I can understand that. But, I'm not that bad.

Your husband sounds just like mine! Usually now, we don't see him in the mornings! He gets up really early and we've been sleeping in late. (for the summer) I remember getting my son ready for school one AM. and my husband was yelling at him over something stupid like shoes, too. Yes, it's the bipolar! At least your husband will say he's sorry! Most of the time, my husband thinks he's right, I'm wrong and that's all there is to it! :blob_fire
