View Full Version : Are titanium implants as bad as amalgam fillings?

I need to decide whether to get a titanium implant or a bridge.

My dentist can make me a bridge without any metal, but will have to reduce 2 healthy teeth to attach the bridge to. I’m not keen on getting healthy teeth altered. But I’m also not keen on getting metal inserted in my mouth. And I guess there is no going back once the implant has been inserted.

Any thoughts or info on titanium implants?

bridges are a major pain in the neck. get the implant. You will never regret it and it'll be comfy and look like a real tooth. Takes a long time, yes, but it's well worth it.
