:blob_fire Good for you Liamsmom.. That was the toughest part it gets easier as you go I will be at 6months on the 28th of July. To answer your question Shorty I believe we both quit cold turkey IMHO the only way to go.
Now if people ask me how I quit I tell them "I just made a promise to myself to Never Take Another Puff" and if people ask me why I quit I tell them "I finally realized I was worth the effort. "
Keep going strong Liamsmom your doing great!!!!

Yipppeeeee for all of us. Shorty to answer your question I quit cold turkey the first 3 days stink I won't lie. Believe it or not what helped was root beer barrel sucking candies for some reason they helped with the anxiety and nausea. I bought them at CVS and they are CVS brand candy.Than again I've smoked for a very very long time so I had bad withdrawal. But like I said it was only 3 days, shoot Ive had hangovers longer than that (why I stopped drinking). I keep in mind that I promised myself to be fabulous by 40 and guess what only 16 months away now (time sure flies). But more importantly my son was just diagnosed with asthma (not from 2nd hand smoke as I never smoked around him at all no exceptions) his Dr said the smoke on my clothes and hair can aggravate his condition so I stopped. I just woke up and stopped I didn't plan a day with a big red x cause that never worked before. I just thought to myself let's see how far I can go today, after the first 3 days I thought to myself S**t I don't wanna go through that again and that's what keeps me going. You can do it Shorty you'll be so proud of yourself and you'll wonder why you didn't quit sooner;)
